haven't been to the Mekong in a while, but decided to try it again the other night, service was very good, our waitress was very attentive and our orders ariived in a timely manner. We ordered a couple of appetizer, they wer ok, nothing special. The prawns in chili tomato sauce were exceptional, cooked to perfection. normally we don't come into the city for chinese food, but i will definitley return.

I've been going to Yangtze for years. It's definitely the best Chinese food you're going to have.
Their "midnight snack" menu is excellent, but I usually end up ordering dim sum a la carte due to how much I like it.
Definitely recommend you try this one out.

We ordered take out,super fast delivery, food was amazing, portions were very generous. My husband eats a lot and couldn't finish his portion and we couldn't stop eating it was so fresh and tasty! The food is great here, and the people are even better.
I love Chinese food, and this place is consistently delivering great bang for your buck.
We usually get egg rolls, chicken balls, crispy beef (spicy), and beef with broccoli. Around 55 bucks and we feed two adults and 3 children with it and still have some great leftovers.
Its in my rotation of take out for sure.

I come here in this buffet restaurant so many times with friends because we just love the food selection and their great taste. To me, this was one of the best Chinese buffet restaurant in Ottawa with a fair meal price. It’s just sad to see this place close its doors permanently. I am a huge fan of Asian food, but unfortunately had nowhere to go for good Korean food since moving to Ottawa, until I found Koreana that is.
Koreana is a low key gem tucked away on Somerset. The staff is always super friendly and service is very quick. Tea along with complimentary appetizers are brought within a couple minutes.
On to the food. I absolutely love the bulgogi which is at least as good if not better than most of the competition in in Toronto. It's always sizzling hot and if you don't put a napkin on your lap you are bound to have some crackling oil drops land there. The meat is very well marinated and tender, and the portions are very big. The various stews are likewise very good, my favorite is the pork stew.
They also service sushi but I have never had to chance to try it. The bulgogi is just too hard to pass up.
As with most Korean restaurants, your order is accompanied by complimentary side dishes like kimchi and seaweed. All are very good except the occasional broccoli salad which I'm not a fan of.
Koreana has now become one of my monthly haunts. Highly recommended.
