I made reservations and went to the restaurant at the end of May for my 18th birthday party. It looked very elegant fom the mall entrance. The ambience was very modern and cozy, though it was slightly noisy at times. Service was prompt and attentive with our orders and the manager even came and brought me a piece of chocolate cake with "Happy Birthday" written in icing on the plate. Everyone unanimously agreed that the food was great. We shared a group veggie, chips, and dip platter and I had the steak well done. It was cooked to perfection and was artfully arranged with savory garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. The cake I received was delicious, as was the sorbet a friend let me try. Overall, the evening went perfectly and the meal was easy on the wallet since none of us drank any alcohol. I would definitely come back here or to another Oliver & Bonacini managed etablishment. What a treat we had in Port Perry after a couple of hours out on the water. The main dining room was full so we were shown a table in a private room which we had all to ourselves. Both the service and the food was excellent. The owner, Christie, was friendly and down to earth making us feel very welcome. A couple of us had food restrictions which were easily accommodated. The homemade ice cream was a exceptional way to end a delicious lunch. I’ll definitely go back! Read more

My friend ordered the Chicken Tikka, which was a big chicken breast, grilled with Tikka sauce on the side. Different, but good. I had the Ping Gai chicken which was excellent and came with Rice and Salad. Total with 2 beers came to $53. A great deal for pretty good food in an upscale pub atmosphere. Will definitely return. I've been to this restaurant twice now and both times the food has been great. But I was there with my husband's family last night for my father-in-law's birthday. My mother-in-law had brought a birthday cake to the restaurant and had asked them to bring it out as a surprise when it was time for dessert. Everything was going great until the server informed my mother-in-law (just before they were about to bring his birthday cake out) that we would be charged $10 just for them to bring it out! We said forget it, and we took the cake home and had it there! We would have ordered coffees and cafe au laits to go with the cake, so they certainly would have made at least another $20 off of that, but it's their loss I guess. So to summarize, the food was excellent as usual, but we were very disappointed that they wouldn't accommodate our birthday cake with out a steep charge - it left a bad taste in our mouth. Read more

They pulled us onto the dance floor with them, It was a good entertaining night in the city. The order bar is at the front door. Lots of warm colours with smiling faces that are always patient and help full. For those that can't make up their minds your not hurried or rushed to make purchases. There are exceptions of course. The atmosphere is roomy, with enough space between tables for privacy. If your order is not ready at purchase point then the staff will bring it to you with out the feeling that you need to tip again if you did. Great seating with leather couches. Chairs and tables are far enough apart to have reasonably private conversation. The patio is overlooking the Bay. Hope that you like birds. Parking is walking distance or one minute from entrance. I liked that you are left alone, you don't have to be on your game, you can be friendly or not, depending on the person. Read more
