Wabora is an awesome place for lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere enjoyable and clean. I highly recommend making reservations to eliminate wait time for seating. The food is amazing every time I go and is perfect for a special occasion or just for a nice dinner out. I don't think it is that expensive for the quality of food you are receiving, however the alcohol drinks are on the pricey side. I highly recommend Wabora. It's my favorite place to eat in Muskoka! Me and my husband comes here about once a month and it's fantastic, except simetimes when he gets the full rack of ribs one of them isn't the greatest. And honestly it's the best meal for your buck. Attention all foodies! This restaurant is a MUST TRY!! We ordered the tasting menu (don't forget to give 24 hrs notice), it was absolutely incredible. Pricey but worth it! The portion sizes were huge, we could barely make it out the door. The wait staff is incredible, we were asked upon arrival what our preferred pace for eating was, quick or nice and easy....who does that? Most restaurants want you in and OUT! Being a Vegan for only 10 months I find it almost impossible to eat anywhere! We went to the Old Newcastle House and I was advised to try the veggie stir-fry. I have to admit I was hesitant, it was fabulous!!! I love to cook so therefore find it hard to find food I can say I love in most places!!! The company I was with also really enjoyed their food a lot! I have to say being OCD I always tend to look at the surroundings and this place is a little gem it is extremely clean ( which I love ) and beautifully decorated. I have a permanent disability, and I came to this restaurant to celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday. Our waitress was named Sarah and she provided our table with excellent service. She took all our orders properly, and had the food served so quick, considering we were a larger group. My 3 children were quite loud, and yet our server was extremely patient and tolerant of my noisy kids. Most waitresses would never be so tolerant. Dessert was very good also. We had a very good time.
