We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. There was live music which we really enjoyed. The volume was just right. We will be back again soon!

My Husband and I attended Brasa for supper on Tuesday March 13th, our wedding night. We were so thrilled with the service, food and atmosphere that we decided to dine there on the 14th and 15th as well. Our servers, Mike & Wissam are truly masters of their craft. They obviously love what they do and take exceptional care of their customers. Prices are very reasonable when quality and quantity are considered. Amazing atmosphere, staff and management. You want super delicious, moist, and tender chicken? Then look no further! They cook their chicken on an open flame grill, and you have the option of a mild, or hot sauce. The hot sauce is rather flavourful, and not really 'hot' at all.
They also sell different types of fish that's not listed on the menu. The sides range from fries-potatoes-rice-veggies-garden salad.
The price is very good compared to other places. I can buy a whole chicken for just $12. Better than Nando's in every way

Always a good time but sometimes food can be a let down. Chicken, meh....but the chicken wings are great. Pizza is a toss, excuse the pun but I've great nights and sadly don't like it nights. It can get really loud so be prepared if you are bringing the grandparents (they may want to turn down their hearing aids). It's kid friendly on one side and has obviously long time locals and party people on the bar side as well. A nice mix all around.

We started our visit via the internet to get a feel for the restaurant. We were curious to see the prices and any other information we could gather. We found the website to be user friendly and included day and evening menus with prices.
We called to inquire about reservations and the hostess that answered was friendly and well informed.
Upon our arrival we were greeted by the same hostess that answered the phone and accommodated us with the window seat that we had asked for. Walking in the atmosphere was warm and inviting with an amazing view of the Niagara Falls.
Our waitress was pleasant and professional in all aspects of her job. She frequently stopped by to talk with us and ensure that our visit was a pleasant one. Her attention to us did not waiver even as the restaurant got busier.
The food was fresh and exceeded all our expectations, right down to the butter. The steaks were prepared exactly the way we ordered them and the baked potato was superb.
Overall this restaurant was outstanding, dinner was delicious, view was exquisite, service was amazing and we had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or just an amazing night out.

It was my choice. Anywhere I wanted to go for my birthday dinner was the plan. It had been over 10 years since I last ate at the Charcoal Steak House, so that was it.
We made reservations early and were seated at a booth. The restaurant was very dark, which bothered one of my guests, but I loved it. A very warm atmosphere. Private while sitting in a room full of other diners.
We chose the Crab Cakes for our appetizer. They were delicious. Perfectly crusted with panko, soft and tender on the inside. A nice tartar sauce served on the side. The dish also came with a side of pickled cucumber, which I was not a fan of, but my guests loved.
Looking over the menu, we made the obvious choices being in a steak house. The prime rib special, the Nebraska Rib-Eye and the King City Rib-Eye.
The Prime Rib was great. Soft and juicy, but my guest had an issue. She ordered well done, but it was served medium. She still ate it, and loved it, but was not given what she ordered.
My other guest loved the King-City Steak. Served with Sweet Potato Fries. I sampled a bite or two of her steak, and it tasted better than my Nebraska cut.
The steak I chose, the Nebraska Rib, was wonderful. But again, the kitchen was a little off with the cooking. I ordered medium, and was served well done. Regardless, it still was one of the best steaks I've ever had. The ends of the steak had that perfect crunchy crust that everyone loves on a Rib Steak.
We passed on dessert, seeing I had a cake at home waiting. After chatting to our waitress, my guest let it slip that it was my birthday, before the bill came she brought out a peice of Mint Ice Cream Cake free of charge. I appreciated that.

I love Charlie's Steakery! The food is so good! We ordered our sandwiches and was waiting for them. The man behind the counter forgot about our french fries. He was very apolegetic and kind. He said after we get our sandwiches, to sit down and he would bring our french fries to us. We received our sandwiches, which were delicious, and we sat down. After a few minutes, the man gave us our french fries, and a free glass of lemonade. He said the lemonade was for forgetting the french fries. Such a nice guy! The food can't be topped, and I will definitely return again. This is the best fast-food place I have ever been to. The service was excellent!

Visiting the Falls and the bar was a 5 minute walk from the motel. The girl serving us, Kristen, was friendly and fast...had our drinks in no time even though it was busy and she was the only server. Food came fast, hot and exactly how I like my wings and I'm fussy! Spoke with Tuna (Charlie maybe?) behind the bar and told him that if I lived here, this is where I would hang out...he bought my wife and I a drink, which we thought was excellent. Went back the next night and ate something completely different and it to was excellent. Four dinners in 2 nights with about 8 pints total including somewhat generous tips brought the 2 day total to $92 CDN...the place is inexpensive and the food is very good.
