The oxtail is by far the best thing on this menu!! Especially combined with their amazingly tender and flaky fried dumpling !! Mmmmm. If you special request it the owner does bottle and sell her amazing jerk sauce to make heavenly chicken at home almost as delicious as the owner makes themselves!!! I decided to give this place a chance. I had an amazing experience. The waitress/bartender Victoria if I’m not mistaken gave great recommendations. Victoria was professional, friendly, understanding and always had a smile on her face willing to assist. She came often to check up to make sure the food and everything was going well, and I really appreciated that. The cove fried rice was definitely a hit. Great food; really interesting atmosphere. Spectacular drinks! The seats on the outside patio are tree stumps. There's live music too on some days. The menus come on a vinyl record. And I had pretty good service too. No lingering waiters but I saw them pretty often during the night. It's one of the few cozy getaways left in Toronto. Read more
