This is not our first visit and, as with other visits, did not disappoint. Grilled calamari was as it should be. Mussels appetizer is simply the best we have ever had. One could make a full meal out of it by dipping a loaf of bread in the sauce. But it's best to make room for the entrees. Venison was quite good, cooked exactly as requested. Veal Chop was melt in your mouth. Finished off with Creme Brulee - another favourite at this restaurant. If you're looking for great food in Durham, equivalent of anything in the City of Toronto, and great atmosphere, try Bella Notte (make reservations) - you won't be disappointed.

I think the people putting bogus reviews of this restaurant should at least get the correct meneu.
The food here is great... I have been here quite a few times and have never had a complaint about the food. The service is good, they remember you when you go back and are freindly and outgoing. There is no bartender as the servers make all the drinks and I have never had a problem when I have ordered various cocktails. So overall this is one of the best Restaurants I have been to in awhile and I would go back again and again....

The appetizer, wine, dinner & dessert were all excellent. Service was top notch & the atmosphere was very relaxing. Not as crowded on a Wednesday evening, therefore not noisy at all. We could enjoy the music & savour everything.
